David H. Schwartz, CEO
A pioneer in credit and debit card processing services, David H. Schwartz possesses extensive marketing expertise in the methodologies and technological advancements that impact and facilitate non-cash transactions in today's business climate.
Mr. Schwartz co-founded a regional processor, NationalCard Processing Systems in 1989. Through entrepreneurial innovation, industry acumen and dedication, Mr. Schwartz grew NationalCard to a “brand identifiable” national company.
Building on the foundation and structure that enabled NationalCard to achieve its market prominence, Mr. Schwartz recognized a similar need rapidly developing within the healthcare industry. The industry, faced with a mandated need for real time financial adjudication, technical challenges and escalating operating costs offered an opportunity for a credit and debit card processing company that is focused exclusively on healthcare and its unique requirements. In 2002, Mr. Schwartz created a dynamic new company to service this niche market.
Co-founding HealthCard Systems in 2002, Mr. Schwartz's unique vision was quickly turned into reality. This national company now attracts clients that include some of our nation's largest and most prestigious medical centers, healthcare organizations, personal care facilities, spas, independent physician associations, vision, medical, veterinarian and dental providers.
Before his tenure with NationalCard, Mr. Schwartz served as Executive Vice President, with JBS Associates, one of the largest check verification/guarantee companies in the United States where he was responsible for new product development and marketing. He was also employed as a Vice President with Chase Manhattan Bank in their credit card division. Early in his career, he held an executive position with Uni-Card Corporation, one of the first regional credit card companies started in the United States.
